Free to Chamber members, qualified small business members receive access to members-only sections of the U.S. Chamber?s online Small Business Center, discounts, and special access and  communications that provide action alerts to pressing legislation or policy initiatives.

Ambassadors

Serving as the Public Relations arm of the Chamber, these individuals assist the Chamber with several events while promoting all networking opportunities, and aiding with membership retention.

Business After Hours

This mixer program offers networking opportunities for chamber members to meet and mingle with fellow business professionals in an informal atmosphere, and has become one of the most successful ideas in Chamber history all across the nation.

Kankakee Regional Young Professionals

This is an exciting division of the Kankakee Regional Chamber of Commerce targeted at young, upcoming business professionals between the ages of 21-39. KRYP provides a platform for its members to meet new people with similar career goals and interests.

Women In Business

Area women come together through Women in Business to identify and address current needs and concerns. They meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month for the Lunch & Learn programs. These luncheons include exceptional opportunities for networking, outstanding speakers, and of course, a delectable lunch! They also host a yearly seminar. The Annual Seminar is one of the Chamber's largest events.

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee meets monthly to discuss local, state, and federal issues affecting the regional business climate. These issues include: land usage, regional transportation, medical liability reform, housing authority, solid waste disposal, workforce preparation, diversion of specified funds, business taxation, health insurance coverage, workers compensation reform, property tax reform, transportation funding, healthcare reform, taxes, tort reform, government regulations and energy.

Gift Certificates

Kankakee Regional Chamber Gift Certificates are simple to order and easy to give. Chamber Gift Certificates, called Certifichecks,  work like cash and allow the recipient to select the merchant of their choice. With a variety of Chamber businesses to choose from, a Chamber Gift Certificate can now be redeemed for goods and services at multiple member locations in the area. Each certificate is accompanied with a participating list of accepting locations. A Chamber Gift Certificate makes a wonderful gift or reward for employees. Each Certificate is packaged and mailed in a festive envelope. Optional gift boxes are also available to purchase. Chamber Checks are available in $5, $10, and $20 denominations.
