Q: Can you please describe your practice?

A:  My practice is a comprehensive Chiropractic practice where Dr. Thomas Koehler and I treat patients that range from infants to elderly with an array of ailments. The exciting part of Koehler Sports and Spinal Rehab Ltd. is that we are in the growth process and taking on many new challenges such as massage therapy, reflexology, physical therapy and much more.

Q:  How/when did you get involved in KRYP?

A:  I got involved with the KRYP shortly after I finished my internship and became fully licensed to practice in the state of Illinois. I grew up in this area and I knew I wanted to come back, and like so many people who have grown up in the Kankakee area, I thought it was such a small town and that I knew everybody but I as I soon found out my group of acquaintances barely scratched t he surface. So I knew I had to get involved in some organizations. It wasn't until a fellow chiropractor and member of the KRYP told me about the organization that I became interested. Thankfully he told me because it has been a great experience.

Q:  What is your favorite aspect of KRYP?

A:  My favorite aspect of the KRYP is the fact that I get the opportunity to take a step out of my comfort zone and force myself to meet fellow professionals from the area and learn about their businesses and what they have to offer. It is great for anyone who has a stigma about social situations and meeting new people.

Q:  What is your number one networking tip for other young professionals in the area?

A:  Always have confidence in yourself and never be afraid to approach people and introduce yourself. The fact is that no matter what you say or do there will always be people that you like you or hate you, but you will never know until you take the first step toward finding out.
