The Women in Business Executive Committee of the Kankakee Regional Chamber of Commerce will be awarding the Anita F. Grant scholarship for the 12th year at the seminar on May 21, 2010 at Olivet Nazarene University. Due to the successful fundraising, the scholarship will be for $1,000.00.
The Anita F. Grant Scholarship was established in memory of the former Kankakee County Circuit Clerk Anita Grant for her tireless support of women in the workplace.
This year, up to three $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to women who work and live in the Kankakee River Valley. Applicants must attend an institution of higher learning within the state of Illinois.
